Summerize Maintenance Tips
1. Change your air filters – Some homes may contain multiple filters.
2. Door and Window Seals – Check the caulking around your windows and doors to better protect against pest intrusion. Check for light coming through your door and window seals.
3. Program your thermostat for cooling – Typically sheetrock, paint, and flooring remain warp and damage free in a 80-82°F setting during unoccupied hours.
4. Plumbing fixture leak check – Now is a good time to check for small leaks from fixtures, waterpipes, and drainpipes.
5. Invest in a Fire Extinguisher or Gauge Check existing extinguishers
Winterize Maintenance Tips

2. Program your thermostat for heating – Typically sheetrock, paint, and flooring remain warp and damage free in a 58-60°F setting during unoccupied hours.
3. Exterior Pipe Insulation – Exterior plumbing and A/C lines should be properly wrapped and sealed. *Most rental insurance will NOT cover water/mold damage and pipe bursts in rental homes. Please check with your provider.
4. Invest in a Fire Extinguisher or Gauge Check existing extinguishers
5. Furnace Inspection (attic) – It is recommended to contact a HVAC technician for a furnace inspection. A non-inclusive inspection entails no flammable material within the vicinity of the furnace, no flame or heating element is open-air exposed, and the furnace is free from damage.
